Water Jacket Incubator
Okolab’s Water Jacket Incubating Chamber provides rock-solid incubation stability both above and below room temperature, thanks to the thermal properties of water.
Water is pumped from an external bath into the chamber’s base and lid. The actual sample temperature is monitored inside the chamber, using the provided fine gauge thermocouple. The temperature controller uses this thermal feedback from the sample to update the water bath’s set point, ensuring a specimen temperature accuracy of ± 0.1°C.
Features
- Temperature Range: from 10–15 °C below ambient (model dependent) up to 60 °C
- Stable Sample Temperature: ± 0.1 °C accuracy using Sample Feedback Mode
- Chamber Feedback Mode Option: ± 0.3 °C when room temperature remains stable; no temperature probe required
- Water Circulation: occurs in both base and lid to minimize gradients
- Modular Inserts: magnetic inserts support petri dishes, chamber slides, and multi-well plates
- Perfusion Ports: built-in tubing inlets/outlets for microfluidics and perfusion applications

Digital Bold Line Gas Mixers connect directly to temperature controllers and are managed through the same user interface (OKO‑TOUCH).

Humidity Module
Gas is humidified through a bubbling column immersed in the water bath, with a pre‑heating coil to prevent condensation and ensure thermal equilibrium before entering the incubation chamber.
- Can be used in cooling and heating modes
- Open-loop, 80 % relative humidity to the sample
OKO‑TOUCH User Interface
The OKO‑TOUCH touchscreen provides centralized control of all connected Bold Line controllers.
