Manual Gas Blenders

Versatile, affordable mixed gas delivery for small volumes.

Manual gas blenders provide the benefits of on-site gas mixing and flow control at an affordable price.

Using accurate floating ball flow meters, they can deliver an adjustable CO2 or CO2/O2 mixture to small volumes of 1 L or less. They can be used as standalone devices, or in combination with many types of microscope incubators. In addition, they’re compatible with certain Okolab air pump and humidity module models (see Features below for details).

The desired gas concentration is achieved by measuring the individual flow rate of each input gas prior to mixing. For Hypoxia or Hyperoxia applications, a third flow meter is added.

Gas is delivered at atmospheric pressure, with total flow rate ranging from approximately 0.6 up to 1 LPM (depending on model and selected gas ratio). Manual gas blenders do not provide feedback on gas concentration.

  • Set Point Resolution: 1%
  • Filtering device: PTFE membrane with 0.2 mm pores
  • Compatible air pump: OKO-AP (2GF-MIXER and 3GF-MIXER-HYPOXIA only)
  • Compatible humidity modules: HM-VF, HM-ACTIVE-STANDALONE (add T-SPLIT-KIT)
