Digital Gas Controllers
Add CO2, hypoxia, or both to any large-volume cell culture incubator.
Digital gas controllers add CO2 and/or hypoxia functionality to your cell culture incubator, or to any semi-sealed large volume from 10 to 200 liters.
They work by infusing pure CO2 and/or N2 into the volume. The internal gas is periodically sampled and measured in the controller to ensure a high accuracy. Controllers feature a built-in gas sensor and suction pump, and should be equipped with a dryer accessory if the atmosphere inside the large volume is humid.
Okolab digital controllers are unique solutions that allow you to:
- Restore high-accuracy gas functionality to older benchtop incubators
- Upgrade existing CO2-only benchtop incubators to add hypoxia functionality
- Add gas control to large-volume custom projects
Features
- Suitable for semi-sealed volumes ranging from 10 to 200 liters, equipped with ports for gas input and sampling tubes
- Set Point Resolution: 0.1%; Repeatability: better than 0.1
- CO2 sensor: Non-Dispersive InfraRed (NDIR) dual wave length detector – 10 year lifetime
- O2 sensor: Optical sensor – 5 year lifetime
- Sensor calibration can be performed using external meter such as LEO 2.0 or certified calibration gas
- Built-in pump provides suction, for performance of periodic gas concentration measurements
- High efficiency membrane-based dryer (attached magnetically to the outside of the incubator) dehumidifies the sampled gas before it reaches the sensor – this accessory is only needed if gas inside the controlled volume is humid)
- Alarm Buzzer and External Alarm Connector
- RS232 and Mini USB ports for data logging through Okolab DATA LOG software or any third party software via DLL
