Centralized Mixers

On-demand mixing of customizable, pressurized gas for any laboratory need.

Simplify and streamline gas mixing in your microscope facility, IVF clinic, or robotic imaging workcell with a centralized gas mixer from Okolab. It’s a dependable and smart solution where a single unit can mix, store, and deliver gas on-demand to multiple places at once. Mixed gas can feed multiple microscopes, mini-incubators, laminar flow cabinets, or any devices that require gas delivered under controlled pressure.

Why make your own gas mixture,
instead of relying on purchased pre-mixed gas cylinders?

  • Gain full control: fine-tune the gas mixture to achieve the ideal condition for any type of culture medium or unique circumstance.
  • Smart safety backup features, automatic weekly sensor maintenance, and remote monitoring provide unprecedented confidence and assurance.
  • Never worry about availability or wait times for specialty pre-mixed cylinders.
  • Reduce your gas supply cost over time, especially for facilities with high gas usage requirements.

Okolab’s Tri-Gas Mixer is trusted by IVF facilities worldwide for its unbeatable accuracy, dependability, and convenience. In addition, there are many other real-world use cases for our family of centralized gas mixers:

It’s a perfect solution for microscope core facilities. Instead of equipping each microscope with its own CO2 tank, regulator, and mixer, you can centralize your entire facility’s gas mixing needs into one place.

  • Spend less money on equipment – if you have three or more microscopes that need mixed gas delivery, a centralized gas mixer can be an economical choice.
  • Reduce workload and troubleshooting time for imaging facility staff – no need to spend time monitoring/ordering/replacing gas tanks, or installing multiple gas mixers, at every single microscope.
  • Okolab centralized mixers are used at HMS, UCSF, and other core facilities? [ask Luca for more examples, get permission from users]

Simplify your scaled-up automated robotic workflow

  • Protect your investment – our built-in remote monitoring and safety backup features add peace of mind.
  • Ensure consistency – every imaging system in the workcell receives an identical gas mixture.
  • Free up valuable space by using a single gas cylinder setup, which can even be located in a separate room or floor, for easy access to the tanks and mixer without needing to enter the automation workcell.

Centralized gas mixers can be used anytime gas delivery under controlled pressure (0-2 barg / 0-30 psig) is required. It can even be customized. For example:

  • Roller culture systems, which require a very stable gas delivery, at variable concentrations including hyperoxic conditions.
  • For use in manifolds and electro-valve assemblies.

Remote Data Viewer

Centralized Gas Mixers feature wireless and ethernet connections. The remote data viewer allows:

  • Alert of any alarm condition, sent via email
  • Remote data access
  • Data history tables and charts

Android and IOS mobile app will be available soon.

Every setup is unique, so is your Okolab solution.
